Real World Report

The news article I chose to read into (found here) was about how a girl named Sabrina, age four, was abducted in 2002 by her then un-legal mother. The mother kidnapped her to Mexico when the court ordered she lost custody of the child. Sabrina , now age seventeen, has finally been found and will be reunited with her father after twelve long years.

I think that what Sabrina's non-custodial mother did was wrong, but I can honestly see why she would do such a thing. Imagine if you were told that you could barely ever see someone you loved in your life. Still, she could've fought to get visitation days rather than kidnapping her own child.

This girl was MIA for twelve years. Twelve years. Think about if you didnt know where your parents or siblings or whatever you have for that long. I know I'd be heartbroken. Who knows what she's gone through in all that time. Probably a lot of hair dye and fake names. How would you feel if it was you?
