The most interesting part of our Profile project so far has been not filming with a camera that wasn't the class'. We used Dylan's camera to film our B-roll instead of Mr. Sanderl's because another group needed it.
This was also our biggest roadblock, the little camera situation. Now some of our B-roll is low-quality and has camera movement. I think overall we're doing a good job though.
To me, the most valuable part of the filmmaking process is the editing. You can get a bad interview or bad B-roll, but with editing, *KABAM* You can turn it into something really good. If it weren't for editing, films would be pretty yawn-worthy and have plenty mistakes.
I know right! Cameras are awesome
